Takeaways Direct was formed in mid 2009 with the aim of both simplifying and modernising (with the latest technology) the takeaway ordering process. No more relaying your order over the telephone and inevitable misunderstandings, and mis-communications that entails, just hop online, and choose your order from the menu.

Along with benefiting consumers we also benefit restaurants by giving them access to the vast online market and handling the complicated technical side of running a website with online ordering which the large chains have already mastered however the small local takeaways simply have not got the budget or the resources to do themselves. Some may make a basic attempt and while an on online menu is useful, actually being able to offer the ability to order online is even more so.

It is our belief we are in a unique position in the online food services industry by offering a two step approach for restaurants, which will allow us to rapidly increase coverage over the coming months and years while remaining a cost effective solution for all parties involved. We have a wide range of skills from the technical side of things, including online ordering, to the technology used to receive orders and online marketing.
